Final Project Guide; (I hope this helps)

1. Identify 3 x publicly traded companies
2. Identify each of the company’s employee benefits program

Project Requirements/Instructions to Follow

PowerPoint

• Slides must be in PowerPoint format

Slide count

• 7-10 slides PLUS your cover slide or reference slide
• 9-12 slides if you are including the cover slide and reference page in the total slide count

Speaker Notes (Presenter Notes)

• All but 2 slides should have speaker notes (cover slide and reference slide)
• If you do not include speaker notes with your final project for some reason, please know that it will have an impact on your overall grade for this assignment
• If you do not know what Speaker Notes are or how to use them, Speaker Notes Instructions (Links to an external site.)

Basic Project Outline

Cover slide (1 slide)

• First slide of the presentation
• A stand-alone slide with a title, date, your name, the course at minimum
• This slide is required

Agenda slide (1 slide)

• The is a summary of what you are about to talk about in the rest of the slides.
• Briefly explain the purpose of the assignment
• Mention all 3 companies that you selected
• Mention your research on their employee benefits packages
• Mention how your research help you make a decision on who you choose to work for (based on their benefit packages only)
• This slide is required

Content slides

• 5-7 slides content that are supported information though academic evidence and examples
• Cite your sources for that slide in your speaker notes.
• Each company should have their own slide explaining their own employee benefits program
• You should have a slide comparing pros/cons of all 3 companies
• You may even have a slide this key employee benefits that are important to you and compare it to what each company is offering
• You have some flexibility to be creative here

Summary slide (1 slide)

• This slide should clearly and briefly summarize all 3 company’s benefits that you appealed to you the most
• clearly state your choice from the 3 companies as to who you would rather work for (based solely on their employee benefits)
• Briefly explain why you chose the company you did and which benefits helped get you to that decision
• This slide is required

Reference slide (1 slide)

• All references/cited sources that you used in your presentation should be included on this slide
• This slide is required
