Respond to the topic with a minimum of 400 words and no more than 500 words. Submit your answers in one document.
- Speculate about why images might be important in non-literate cultures. What might be one concern about images used in religious rituals? Can you identify an example of a non-religious icon other than the one noted in the text?
- Select 4 structures that best symbolize the identity or culture of a society. Describe its impact on influencing a nation, its significance to the nation, and how the structure contributes to national or individual identity. At the end, discuss why you selected the structures and the aesthetics of the building.
- Discuss the importance of studying Shakespeare in the 21st C.
- Discuss the influence of ancient Greek tragedy on modern-day theater.
