Criminal Law: Hypothetical Situation Assignment
For this assignment, you will create a fact pattern that describes a hypothetical criminal event, much like we have reviewed throughout the semester. You will be able to draw from any of the crimes we have discussed during this class. This includes inchoate offenses, murder, crimes against persons, property, the public, or the government. You must include at least two (2) separate crimes.
This must be a detailed description of the elements of each crime, told through a factual situation. I would suggest picking a crime, and then researching the jury instructions. This will help you be very clear about what the elements are for the crime. Then, decide a factual scenario. Be detailed in your descriptions, that is how you make a good scenario.
Your scenario must be at least one typed page and should be no more than two typed pages. Please submit your scenario along with the completed questions on this form to receive full credit.
