Cross Cultural Assignment
Description:
Select two countries from this list: Japan, Egypt, Mexico, or Germany. If you are interested in using a different country, you have to get it approved. Conduct research (see recommended sources, and suggestions below) and compare them with respect to cross-cultural communications while conducting business in the international environment of the two countries of your choice in contrast with the U.S. You will have a paragraph of introduction and conclusion plus six paragraphs where you first compare American customs to one country in the first three paragraphs and then compare American customs to the second country in the next four paragraphs. Begin with a paragraph of introduction in which you identify the purpose and scope of the memo. Whenever you use information from your research, you must cite the source (in text and in the References list) whether you just review websites to get ideas, use direct quotes, paraphrase, or summarize the material.
Follow APA citation style. You do not have to create a Running Head for this assignment. If you use exact words from the original author (source), surround the exact words with quotation marks to indicate a direct quote and put the page number. Introduce the source before you begin using it: Example: According to Jones (2017)
