Thus, all employees must recognize that the company is a potential weak link in Cybersecurity. To detect Cybersecurity threats, automatic alerting, threat analysis, and 24/7/365, real-time monitoring is mandatory for the company. The main tips of responding to security threats are the creation of an incident response plan, deployment of a damage control system, and remediation of the risk. To effectively detect and respond to Cybersecurity threats, a culture of Cybersecurity awareness is critical and has to be created. For Important Product Industries Inc., achieving all the recommended actions by solely relying on the company’s in-house expertise would be much easier said than done.
Essentially, in the workplace, Cybersecurity culture amounts to the promotion of safe Cybersecurity policies, practices, and standards that seamlessly integrate with employees’ work.
