Pick a topic (Study history from about 200-1500 depending on topic)
- Maya and Aztecs
- Umayyad’s and Abbasids
- Chinese (Tang, Song or Ming Dynasty) and Mongols
Information to find
- Find a map of the two empires and explain the geography (land and water features, weather, etc.)
- Summarize the history of the empires in a paragraph: basic information only (copy/paste = 0)
- List 5 Interesting facts about each empire
Level 4: Pick one of your two civilizations and create a diorama in a shoe box (or similar)
- Diorama should recreate a scene you may have found from the time period
Make sure to cite your work (minimum 3 sources)

- Level 3 plus a diorama (Honors: written explanation of diorama scene)
