Create a 15 slide PowerPoint® Presentation that evaluates at least three Federal Statutes that deal with white-collar crime. In the presentation, assess the requirements and judicial interpretations of at least three or more federal statutes that direct criminal investigations from the list below:
- 15 U.S.C. § 3503: US Code – Section 3503: “Antitrust law” defined
- Sherman Act (15 U.S.C. 1 et seq.)
- Clayton Act (15 U.S.C. 12 et seq.)
- Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C. 41 et seq.).
- Evaluate the federal statutes/acts and explain how they help address white-collar crime.

Topic 2: What types of scams does the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigate? 1 PAGE
- Go to the FTC website (ftc.gov) and research the types of scams the FTC investigates. Post your findings on the Discussion Board and explain what the FTC is doing to stop the fraud. What “scams” have you been exposed to that are similar to those posted? How were you affected by these scams?

- After reviewing the articles on the Massey Mine disaster, discuss what should have been done with this company. Do you think the company was negligent? Was it safe to have employees work in the mine? What role, if any, should governmental agencies play in protecting workers? Discuss other job site “disasters” and discuss the companies’ responsibility in any unsafe environment.
