Assignment #4 – Training Objectives (10%)

This assignment relates to the following Course Learning Requirements:

  • CLR #2 – Design an employee training program in an organizational setting.

Objective of this Assignment:   

  •  To create learning objectives that are clear and concise, containing the required elements and components, resulting in effective learning for students.

Instructions:  

Step 1:

Read the following training objectives and determine what is wrong with each of them.

  1. The trainer will explain how to create spreadsheets.
  2. After attending the course, participants will be better communicators.
  3. The purpose of this training program is to help managers deal with conflict.
  4. The trainees will be more efficient upon completion of this training program.

Step 2:

  1. Rewrite the training objectives to incorporate the elements and components of training objectives as reviewed in Module 6 and supported by your readings. Provide an explanation for your changes.
  2. This assignment will be graded based on the rubric on pages 2 and 3.
  3. Your assignment is to be submitted in MS WORD format. It should be submitted with the following guidelines:
    1. Include a cover page with the course code and course name, the assignment number, the title of your assignment, your student ID, your name, the instructor’s name, and the date the assignment is created.
    2. Ensure the first page of your assignment has the title at the top of the page and the sections of your report have headings and subheadings to chunk your paper into sections for each of the topics you are writing about.
    3. Font should be either Calibri or Arial, 11pt.
    4. You must cite all your sources of information using APA formatting.
    5. Create a separate reference page that lists all of your sources that you have cited in text. Sources include software used.
