The Use of the SQ3R Reading Method

The Kite Runner is a novel which base on Afghanistan story, in the book there is two friends Hassan and Amir both are childhood friend and spent the whole life together and the writer discusses the Afghanistan history, culture and the rise and fall of Afghan nation.

- What is the reason behind the rise and the fell of Afghanistan?
R = READ
Afghanistan has a rich history and culture. Every year there is conducting kite tournament. Hassan and Amir both were participating in this tournament and enjoyed it.
Due to Civil war Afghanistan till undeveloped country because war sabotaged the country progress.
R = RECITE

- Culture
- Different governments in Afghanistan especially Afghan Taliban regime in Afghanistan how can they ruled in Afghanistan.
- Learned from the friendship of Hassan Amir
Question 2. Explain how using SQ3R helped you reading the material more efficiently.
THE SQ3R METHOD
The SQ3R is an effective method which is also proved by different psychologist and it also helps us to understand the reading material and how to store this material in long term memory. Every person has own way to read the books but I opt this method because it is a comprehensive method which consists of three Alphabet first survey, second question and third is recited.
Moreover, this method also helps those readers, how to avoid cram because our education system based on cram and they are not able to critical thinking. This method encouraged people to critical thinking.
