This project will also develop your awareness of legal considerations in global business decision making and the impact of E-commerce on business operations.

- Use the knowledge gained from this course to write a detailed (1000 words, minimum) memorandum to your supervisor that contains your concerns and recommendations regarding the scenario presented below.
- Include the legal considerations relevant to your decision-making process in reaching your conclusions.
- In addition, support all claims and assertions with professional/scholarly support (other than the textbook) that is no older than three years.
Scenario:
Due to your grasp of international business law, you have been promoted from a corporate management position to Global Initiatives Manager with a retail company just now entering the global market. Your initial job assignment is to communicate to your supervisor your concerns and recommendations related to the new global initiative of opening retail stores overseas.
- Address first the roles that ethics and major types of laws (i.e. employment, contract, consumer, and property) play in any business environment, including relations with employees, customers and other stakeholders.
- Then present your concerns and recommendations relating to the legal considerations relevant to global operations and decision-making.
- Lastly, present your concerns and recommendations relating to the impact of the Internet on business law, including e-commerce, e-contracts and e-signatures.
