Case Study: Facilitating growth & innovation within an existing large company

During this term you will complete a body of work which enables you to thoroughly research an existing large company of your choice, looking at their brand values/DNA/successes/failures/opportunities etc creating a report with visuals, as well as completing weekly tasks which will allow you to comprehend how to run a company through a CEO’s eye. It’s imperative that you look into business development and new initiatives, which is incredibly aligned with the current global crisis we find ourselves in.

Tasks:

  1. Company analysis (values/DNA/SWOT analysis) with visuals
  2. Identification of issues/missing components/areas for improvement
  3. Create a new initiative/idea for the company, which will increase their brand awareness, aims and goals
  4. Develop a project plan
  5. Devise a social media campaign, to engage old & attract a new audience (Discount/competition/live/polls)
  6. Create a timeline of events (Thinking about the project plan)
  7. Identify a gap within the employees, what role needs recruiting (you can create a role in relation to your new initiative)
  8. Create a job description (For new role)
  9. Review a CV & Interview applicant (Peer assessment)
  10. Overall evaluation report of case study 2500 words inc SWOT & Flexible support report (Think about obstacles, pandemic/sickness/misconduct and how you can overcome those)
  11. Present case study (Company analysis, new initiative, project plan, social media plan, recruitment outcome & support report)
