Task description

The objective is to ensure that the brand (you) is presented in a way that’s consistent with your tagline whilst changing the language and tone (not the content of the message) to suit the audience so the information must be consistent across all three paragraphs.

Write 3 pieces of copy (approx 150 words each) to promote yourself within different contexts to different audiences

  1. Firstly describe yourself in general terms and devise a tagline to be used for all communications.
  2. In a social context: The purpose is to make social connections with like-minded people in the online space either via social media, or a forum.   This should be based on your interests or hobbies; e.g cycling; working-out, a particular sport; making music; or your stage of life, e.g. newlyweds, first baby, etc.
  3. In a professional context: The purpose is to promote yourself to prospective employers by telling them your values; what drives you; what personal attributes you can contribute to the work place.  DO NOT focus on skills you have but rather on reworking what you have prepared for the other pieces using more professional language.  This is copy that could be used on professional social media sites such as LinkedIn
