Assessment Task 1 – WHS Review
Instructions
This Assessment requires you use the following:
- Your WHS Policy that you created as part of your Policy and Procedure Manual of massage clinic
- Your Infection Control Audit
Section 1- Policy and Procedure review
Using the Policy and Procedure for WHS that you have previously created your task as a team is to now review the policy and ensure that the following are included. If not add them to your policy
- hazard, incident and injury reporting
- hazard identification, risk assessment and control
- human resources policies and procedures
- consultation and participation
- incident investigation and record-keeping
- quality system documentation
- designated person/s for raising issues
- workplace support services
- use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- hazardous manual handling
- emergency procedures including: (this will be used as part of Assessment Task 4)
- verbal threats to staff
- bomb threats
- staff trapped in lifts
- civil unrest in streets outside premises
- fire
