Assignment – Planning and Writing a Report
On January 6, 2021 a crowd of protesters broke into the Capitol Building, and created chaos. Five people died.
Create a 2000 word report that analyzes the event, identifies responsibility and recommends actions to prevent the event from happening in the future. Use the guidelines and samples contained in Chapters 10 and 11 Planning and writing reports to help you.
You must use four (4) independent secondary research sources AND conduct primary research by interviewing or surveying five to ten people as part of your research. Your interview questions or survey document should be attached to your assignment for me to review.
Your report should cover the following 5 topics and include 3 charts and graphs.:
- Background/history- What led up to the event?
- The event- What happened? Why?
- Who was Involved? Who is to blame?
- Aftermath
- Recommendations to prevent a similar event in the future
