As we are approaching our employment law topic, I thought it would be interesting to consider employment concerns and the COVID vaccines.

  • Should private employers require or recommend that employees have a COVID vaccine as a continued condition of employment?

Currently, the FDA has issued a COVID vaccine emergency use authorization.

To answer the question, you may give your opinion, but your opinion should be supported.  Please cite to some supporting information (government website, legitimate news source, medical news source, etc.).  The question is only directed to private businesses (not government agencies or schools), such as grocery stores, retail stores, law firms, accounting firms, and restaurants.  You may answer the question about one specific type of business.  Would your answer change if the FDA gives final approval (not emergency authorization) for the vaccines.
