Documentary Analysis: Invasion of The Land

This chapter of Life in the Undergrowth explores the main challenge that the previously sea dwelling invertebrates faced upon move onto dry land:- the prospect of death by drought.  Notice that most of characters featured in this episode, Invasions of the Land, are not Insects. They are the closest relatives of insects within the phylum Arthropoda, and which you have learned about in recent lectures.
