Part 1: MBTI inventory

The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-report inventory Links to an external site designed to identify a person’s personality type, strengths, and preferences. The MBTI inventory is one of the world’s most widely-used psychological instruments.

You are required to complete the MBTI inventory in this module, as it contributes to your self-awareness of who you are as an individual and an aspiring educational leader. After completing the MBTI inventory, you will receive a personality score, denoted by an abbreviation (e.g. “ENTJ”) in which each letter stands for an aspect of your personality (i.e. Extroverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging). As a future leader, your awareness of personality differences can contribute to you developing and leading successful teams.
