Genetics & Entertainment Discussion Paper

Genetics & Entertainment Discussion Paper

Some people like to read books, while others like to watch or play sports. Clearly, everyone prefers some activities over others. Why do you think this is? Could genetics play a part in determining what people like to do for entertainment? I doubt the genre of music one likes is not genetically determined, might the general love of music be?

Dylan:

I am one of those people that would much rather watch or play sports. I grew up playing all the sports I could and always loved watching them because my family has always been sport heavy. I do like to read some and mostly listen to an AUDIBLE book. There are very few things that interest me in books. I like non-fictional information, documentaries, and things I can utilize in my life like “The Dichotomy of Leadership” by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin for example. I think it comes down to ones personality, interests, raising, and with age things change also.
