Hazard Identification Analysis Essay
Step 1: Read at least three Web-based articles from credible sources on the topic of various hazards that result in major emergencies and disasters. Make sure to include in your reading hazards from natural, technological, and human-initiated (intentional) sources.
Step 2: Write an essay meeting the following criteria (MINIMUM 400 WORDS – please use single-spaced narrative writing format and no bullet points. Include a word count):
- Pick one hazard from each of the three primary hazard categories (i.e., natural, technological, intentional).
- Distinctly summarize each hazard under the three noted sub-topics. Include typical occurrence factors, consequences, and special response considerations.
