Immigration Policy Comparison Paper
Executive Summary
A good immigration policy ends in the ultimate betterment of all involved stakeholders, and this will be a major focus of the research paper. This paper will evaluate how important an immigration policy is within a country in terms of economic growth, economic stability, and in the determination of the quality of human capital into the country at any given time. Also, this paper will explore the motivating factors that cause an individual to leave his or her home country and move into foreign nations. The paper will uncover the reasons behind immigration such as reunion with family, political instability, natural disasters and so on. In this doing, the paper will focus on three OECD countries namely the United States, Australia, and Canada. In the literature review, an overview of the key thematic debates, comparative methods and analysis, and contextual research problem will be done. In addition, the immigration policies uses in the U.S. (my home country) will be deeply discussed.
