IR Theory & Practice Assessment

Conduct a historical research in Fiji, on Water Authority Fiji (WAF) and evaluate its industrial/employment relation system (I/ERS) based on Dunlop’s systems model. (This you can refer to the strike that took place in April 2019)

  1. Identify and examine the origins or emergence of the State  and some developments until now.
  2. Also discuss the three componentsinput, transformation process and output and some development thus far.
  3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the three components to the State and how are they linked to employee motivation.
  4. Based on your literature review, discuss what do you think would have been the best IR model for that country? Justify your argument with logical reasoning’s and must be backed up with literatures.
