Is Money Most Important in Job

Most people believe that the most important aspect of a job is the money that workers earn. This general opinion is highly subjective, based on the positions of a researcher. In my opinion, the amount that an individual earns in a job is everything. It is very difficult to survive without any money. People are unable to do anything to upgrade their wellness and lifestyles without sufficient money.

Money motivates workers to maximize their potentials in the place of work. People aspire to earn enough money in order to live a better life with family and friends. In this perspective, people are always motivated to study harder in order to acquire education and the right qualifications to enter in good jobs. Education is very expensive. Most people believe that jobs should compensate them for all costs incurred while acquiring education. Jobs without pay are demotivating, and people show no effort to advance their performance for the success of the employer companies.

Good salaries make life colorful and enjoyable for the employees. In this perspective, workers work harder, become creative and innovative, and always meet targets set by the management. The main objective of working harder in a job is to get promoted. Promotions are accompanied with salary increments. People value money than anything else in jobs, they believe this is the most important job attribute that motivate them to perform better.

In conclusion, money or the amount earned by an individual in a job motivates him/her to perform better for the benefit of a company. Human resource managers of companies need to offer attractive payment and salaries to their employees in order to retain them and motivate them to boost performance.
