IT-Enabled Supply Chain Management
What you must submit:
- A 1000-word research essay.
- You can pick one of 2 topics:
- The role of optimization technology in supply chain management
- The role of data analytics in supply chain management
- Identify, at a minimum, 8 papers on your chosen topic. An attempt to look at more papers would be appreciated.
- Master the content of the identified papers. Critically analyse their content.
- Summarize what these papers present. Where relevant, criticize the proposals contained in these papers.
- Then identify a set of open questions that can form the basis for future research and development in that space.
- Your essay should contain the following sections:
- Introduction
- Existing work (this is where you summarize the papers you have identified)
- A roadmap for future research and development
- Conclusion
- References
- Submit 2 files in Word format. The first file will contain all of the above sections except the references. This file should be no longer than 1000 words. The second file will contain the references. These must conform to the Harvard referencing style (see the subject outline for details).
- This assessment item must be individual work.
How you will be assessed:
- Your submission will be processed via Turnitin.
- Your mark (20%) will be determined by
- The quality of the research presented, including the directions for future research and development identified (10%)
- The quality of critical thinking (10%)
