Maternity and Children’s Hospital
The Hospital bed capacity of the Maternity and children’s Hospital is 300 beds. It consists of a three-floor main building with a surface area of 6000 square meters per floor. The building includes 8 pediatrics clinics, 14 clinic rooms for women and pregnant women, and emergency department. It also has 5 operation rooms, 24 beds for surgical ward, 11 delivery rooms and all necessary services and support from pharmacy, laboratory, radiology rooms, CT room. In addition to a kitchen and dining rooms for the staff and a section for women, including 89 beds and 16 isolation rooms and 8 beds intensive care. Furthermore, a section for children includes 104 beds, 14 isolation rooms, and a special care unit with a capacity of 44 beds, as well as 6 beds intensive care for newborns and 6 beds intensive care for children and 16 beds intermediate care.
There is a service building with a desalination plant, a laundry building, 2 ground tanks, a sewage treatment plant, an administrative building, 2 residential buildings for doctors and a nursing home.
