Assessment Instructions
- This research-based case study is based on the following learning outcomes;
LO1. Critically Analyse change management concepts, theories, models, issues and challenges within organizations.
LO2. Research and evaluate solutions to change management issues and challenges within an organisation.
LO3. Examine the role of communications and leadership within the change management process.
LO7. Evaluate appropriate leadership styles and required ethics, professionalism and socially and culturally appropriate behaviour for leading and implementing change in different scenarios within an organisation.

- This assessment comprises two components; a written report and presentation. To successfully complete this course, students need to pass both components. Out of total marks, 90% is allocated to the written report and 10% to the student presentation.
- You are expected to conduct secondary research about the selected organisations through review of their annual reports, media reports, articles, and website information. You are not expected to directly contact any representative of the organisation for the purpose of this report.
- Students are required to submit their assignment as a business report. Business reports are varied in their structure; however, it should follow the model structure described in the Assessment Task (Pg. 6).
- Overall, students are expected to use the tools, techniques and concepts learned in this course that will showcase students’ knowledge and familiarity with the text and other course materials.
- Purpose of presentation is to judge the student’s ability and understanding of the concepts, knowledge, and LOs of the course. Students need to demonstrate in the presentation that the assessment is their own genuine work.

Assessment Guidelines
- Ensure you complete the cover page (name, student ID and lecturer’s name) and sign off the declaration form. Follow the TII’s cover page template available on Moodle.
- This assignment should be your own work. You are only expected to use information from authentic sources, such as annual reports, media reports, articles, and website information, and it needs to be properly referenced. Appropriate “APA” referencing and citation must be provided.
- General guidelines for formatting the reports is as follows;
- Font style: Times New Roman/Calibri
- Font size: 12 points (main text)
- Margins: Normal (Top 2.54cm, Bottom 2.54cm, Left 2.54cm and Right 2.54cm)
- Line Spacing: 2.0 line spacing
- All the submitted reports will be judged and marked based on the quality of the research and content. In term of word count, good coverage of the individual marketing plan for each organisation is around 2000 – 2500 words.
- A soft copy of the report must be submitted on TII’s Moodle and a hard copy must be submitted to the lecturer before the due date.
- Ensure you read and acknowledge the TII’s policies and regulations for submitting assessments (Pg. 4).
- In case of any questions regarding the assessment, you need to clarify with your Lecturer before the submission of your report.
