Potential Job Seekers Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to help potential job seekers (you) find ways to present themselves as a “perfect candidate” for a job that involves traveling/living overseas. Imagine that Starbucks is planning on opening multiple stores in Iceland*, and needs marketing managers that are energetic and enthusiastic to manage marketing/promotion activities there. Starbucks decides to identify and attract qualified pool of applicants from various west coast universities, including from San Francisco State University, for this purpose.
Needless to say, Starbucks has a stringent screening process and intends to hire the best qualified applicants with the greatest potential to succeed in Iceland. Please write a cover letter to the HR Manager at Starbucks to convince her that you are the “ideal fit” for the marketing manager position(s) in Iceland. Please address your cover letter to:
