SCM830 Decision Making Assignment
Situation
For the purposes of this assignment, one is to assume that you are a Junior Consultant with an international company that provides SCM advisory services. Also, this company has a policy on written that requires one to use the MLA for format internal communications. Your Managing Consultant is J. Bottomley.
Assignment Details
For this assignment, one is to write a 1,000 (maximum) word memo in MLA format (both paper layout and referencing) in the field of supply chain management to:
- take a difference position on a point mention in the video and support one’s different position with facts and analysis,
- make a different conclusion than presented in the video and support one’s position with facts and analysis, OR
- identify and explain the future of an unmentioned country’s trade future (e.g. India, Indonesia, France) in the video and support one’s point of view with facts and analysis.

If one is taking either of the first two options, one is to include the time stamp in the video when the related point is being expressed. The speaker in the video is Peter Zeihan and he is well-established presenter and author of books in the area of geopolitics and international trade.
