The meeting underscored that there are many factors that affect a given society such as demographical, and globalization and global influences that surpass national borders. It deliberated that the focus should be on most crucial factors that preserve the national identity of any given Arab society (Godwin, 2006, p. 2).  The debate concluded that any plan made to maintain and enhance continuation of national identity must take into account these crucial factors.
