Corporate Social-Resposnsibility & Business Ethic
The report will include three main parts:
SHAREPOINT SITE: The CSR Report Contents added to the correct place on the Sharepoint Website with a relevant picture, chart or visual of some type.
- Best Practices in … – Basically outline the requirements of the AASHE standard here AND include 1 interesting BEST PRACTICE that another College or University did that you would like Conestoga to implement. Be sure to provide good detail on which college/university, what they did, what they accomplished and include a photo or other visual. Include a weblink to the college/university website where this is featured.
- What we are Proud of – Identify here 2 or three things that Conestoga is doing to Meet the AASHE Standard.
- Our Recommendations – List here in full sentences the recommendations you are making to the College.
- Good News Story – Write here in narrative form a feature story about Conestoga College’s achievement in the last year on Sustainability. Include a picture, quotes and anything else that will make it interesting. Include any references that you used in APA Format
- Acknowledgements (Acknowledge the staff or others (not your instructor) who you interviewed and/or provided information.
BACKGROUND RECOMMENDATIONS REPORT – This report is a document that tells the reader about each section, what was learned during your analysis and builds up to the final recommendations, which we can clearly link to the analysis in the report. This report includes
Executive summary
- Analysis of comparison AASHE Standard against Conestoga, and one other academic institution
- Stakeholder Map and description of the most important stakeholders and why they are most important.
- Stakeholder Engagement Objectives and how you engaged stakeholders (who you engaged, how, why and the results)
- Materiality Matrix and description that outlines what are the most material issues and why.
- Information that you will upload or have uploaded to the AASHE Portal on your topic
- Five to ten recommendations for Next Steps for Conestoga College (identify who, what, when and why)
- Recommendations (ST, MT, LT)
- The length should be about 10 pages (not less, but could be more), plus List of References (APA Format) and Appendices (which will include at least the Excel Spreadsheet containing the information we will upload to AASHE and likely your Interview Transcript)
AASHE UPLOAD – Compete the AASHE Excel Spreadsheet for your section of the report. Hand in only your section of the Excel Spreadsheet. (Complete the excel file named as “Ashee upload” for this part).
Presentation of Results
Groups will make a presentation to stakeholders about their findings and gain their feedback.
