HISTORY 101 Final Examination
Learning Outcomes:
Course:
- Critically appreciate early Canadian history though a critical examination of a variety of historical sources (reading history)
- Personally interpret and communicate historical problems in early Canadian history (writing history). These are skills developed in writing essays (up to 2,000 words), comparative book reviews, library, on-line and field research exercises, and a two-hour final examination

- Demonstrate mastery of course content – Pre-confederation Canada
- Demonstrate ability to write an argumentative essay
- Demonstrate ability to use Chicago Style
