Proposed Research Topic : The Influence of Foreign Investment Banks on Australian Capital Markets
Business Issue(s)
To examine the problems that Australian investment faces because of the activity of foreign IBs and understand the current state of Australian capital market
Relevance of Research:
- The research is relevant in chronological and geographical aspect as post the last Financial crisis in 2008 and move or scale down of IB’s in 2019 in Australian market and now with the pandemic crisis will for sure mark a change in statuses of local and other IB’s which is worth assessing.
Research Objective:
- The objective of this research is to outline the scenarios of how foreign IBs influence Australian investment banking sphere and capital markets. The second and sub objective is to understand the current state of local capital market
Proposed Research Methodology:
- This research will be qualitative in nature and based on secondary research data.
Expected Outcomes and Implications:
- The outcome of this study is supposed to provide in-depth analysis of the effects that foreign IBs have on Australian capital markets.
