This short essay question focuses on social change.
In an episode of the animated children’s show ‘PJ Masks’, the evil villain Romeo took the voices of the three superheroes so that they couldn’t communicate to overthrow him. Will Romeo’s plan work? Discuss with reference to all that you have learned in the social change module.
In this module, we have discussed group emotions, relative deprivation, collective action, engagement online and extremism, online actions and reactions. This question asks you to draw on your learning about some of these concepts and their interconnections, and apply them to this example. You do not need to know about the TV show in question.
